Objective. The objective of this USAID funded project is to facilitate and provide for multiple quick response task orders (QRTs), which are of short duration and limited scope and require immediate action. Like regular task orders, quick response task orders have separate, stand-alone budgets but fall outside the scope of existing task order authorizations. Both small scale and recurring technical support activities fall into this category. Examples of services include: geotechnical services, environmental assessments, technical studies, social assessments, economic studies, and bidder or contractor prequalification.

Background. A contracting mechanism was needed to cover small-scale, recurring technical support activities, and this task order was created to address that need.
